Children's seat cushions

Now I have created soft and colorful  seat cushions for children! They are easy to take on a family trip or pack in the children's backpack before the school trip.

They are crocheted  and wet-toed  of a lovely, thick yarn consisting of 65% sheep wool and  35% alpaca wool. Wool is one  excellent  material for seat cushions then it  can regulate both heat and cold in a good way.

You can choose from four color combinations:

  • Green  and turquoise blue
  • Green and rust red
  • Rust red and purple
  • Turquoise blue and rust red

The seat cushions are about 27-28 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm thick. On the underside, I have created a small pocket where there is a sewn cloth patch to write the child's name on

You can wash the cushion in 30 degrees (wool program) and it will not lose size or shape. Just make sure you plant dry it only.

  • Weights and Measures

    about 27 - 28 cm in diameter

    Height (thickness) about 1.5 cm

    Weight about 150 g

  • Material

The yarn is a two-thread traditional spun yarn in 35% super fine alpaca and 65% Peruvian Highland wool. The yarn fibers are untreated, which means that they are only washed, and not subjected to chemical treatment before dyeing.

I wet them with an organic and natural wool detergent.

The name tag is made of 100% organic / GOTS-certified linen fabric that I sewed on fine jute fabric with 100% cotton thread (is also organic and GOTS-certified). The logo, which is also on the name tag, is printed on 100% woven cotton with one  water-based  print,  free from harmful substances and has an ECO PASS from OEKO-TEX® certification and complies with STANDARD 100 of OEKO-TEX® Product Class I.

The name tag is with a hemp string.

  • Care instructions

The wool is in itself dirt-repellent, ie. the dirt settles on the surface, and  this is because the wool contains natural fats. Stains are usually good to remove with a damp cloth. Do this as soon as possible so that the stain does not have time to sink in.

It is possible to wash in 30 degrees (wool program). Should be plant dried!
