Green meets mint blue. Forest meets sky. From this came the idea for this knitted sweater. The yarn is 100% wool yarn from Finland and with that it was a given, the sweater would be named Fredrika.
Fredrika Runeberg lived in Finland in the 19th century. She is considered the country's first female journalist. She was also an author, social influencer, mother of eight children and caregiver of her husband. She was also a skilled gardener and was very early to start having potted plants at home.
The sweater is knitted with the yarn Tukuwool DK. The yarn is thin and fine, which creates a light and compliant sweater. The two different colors meet at different levels and thus create it irregular edge that creates an illusion of forest and sky.

After wet blocking, the stitches relax and the fabric softens and evens out. Tukuwool DK is non-superwash treated like this wash gently by hand in cold water and allow to dry.

Tukuwool is a Finnish company. The entire production chain is located in the home country. They have their seat in Jyväskylä, but the yarn is spun Mikkeli and stained in Hämeenkyrö. All their yarn is 100% Finnish wool.
Care instructions
Hand wash, or you wash it in the washing machine and uses a wool program (30 degrees). Use liquid detergent adapted for wool.
The sweater can be perceived as sticky right at the beginning, but it will adapt quickly to your body figure and become softer if you use it often.
