"The farewell is big, the divorce is imminent, but the reunion is certain" writes Edith Södergren in her poem Om hösten from 1925 . I love this dictation line and now that the cooler days of autumn are coming, and I have created a couple of new wrist warmers, I choose to name them after Edith Södergren.
These wrist warmers are plain knitted with lifting stitches and the yarn is 100% Swedish sheep wool. Wool has a fantastic ability to regulate heat and cold, which makes it so good for garments like this.
You can currently choose between four different colors: white, mustard yellow, off-white and gray. All yarns are 3-threaded but the thickness differs slightly. Off-white is thickest and gray is thinnest. Not sure what color you want? Do you want to feel and squeeze? Order a small sample note!
The wool can feel a bit sticky in the beginning with the advice is to wash it (wool program) and to use them often. The more you use them, the smoother the wool becomes.

Weights and Measures
Length 24 cm
Circumference 18 cm
Length from the top down to where the thumb starts 3 cm
Thumb 5 cm long
Weight 48 g
100% Swedish sheep wool:
- White - uncoloured wool, unclear from which sheep
- Gray - uncoloured wool from Gotland sheep
- Mustard yellow - dyed wool yarn from Gotland sheep
- Off white - Ryaull / Gotlandsull / Gobeläng
The wool is in itself dirt-repellent, ie. the dirt settles on the surface, and this is because the wool contains natural fats. Stains are usually good to remove with a damp cloth. Do this as soon as possible so that the stain does not have time to sink in.
It is possible to wash in 30 degrees (wool program).
